Scene/Unseen: The Underwater Works of Laurie McLeod
Join us for our opening night fundraiser featuring the underwater films of Laurie McLeod gathered together in one place for the first time ever. Laurie McLeod, a choreographer, film maker and performance maverick, has been making brave, invigorating and beautiful art for over 20 years. For the past four years Ms. McLeod has focused exclusively on short underwater films which have been seen at MassMoCA, Lincoln Center, Jacob’s Pillow and on PBS. The exhibit will include audience favorite “Yes, She Said”, “Teatro Iva”, “Teatro Otana”, “Waterhaven #1: (Luo Yong’s Dream)” along with never before seen compilation of outtakes and unused scenes from her films, scenes from her new body of work inside carwashes as well as other new material.

Exhibit curated by Laurie McLeod, Erik Nelson and Berkshire Fringe co-artistic director, Casey Siegel. All proceeds benefit The Berkshire Fringe (Bazaar Productions).

Extra special thanks to Laurie McLeod and the Haddad-Lascano Gallery for making this event possible.
