No Net Trio

3 bandleaders, composers, and incorrigible improvisors come together for in the No Net Trio. An all-improvised band in which shrieking woodwinds meet guitar fuzz and pounding drums; or, quiet melodies erupt amidst the soft clang of gongs; or, grooves insinuate themselves against complex pads.... no 2 performances are the same.
These musicians have performed with John Zorn, Bang on a Can, Alarm Will Sound, Henry Kaiser, So Percussion, and more; they lead and co-lead their own bands including Gutbucket, Edom, and Burkina Electric; they have recorded on Tzadik, Cantaloupe, Enja, Knitting Factory, Intuition, Cuneiform, and others; they have written for the Kronos Quartet, Bang on a Can, American Composers Orchestra, Alarm Will Sound, Anti-Social Music, and more; and have performed across multiple continents.
